MSU Safe Place Services
Advocacy services include discussing options and resources related to legal, educational, housing, financial, emotional or other needs; assistance with and/or accompaniment to MSU Office of Institutional Equity (OIE), civil, or criminal proceedings; or safety planning.
MSU Safe Place provides shelter to female, male, non-binary and trans adults and their minor children who are experiencing stalking and/or emotional, physical or sexual abuse in an ongoing relationship and are in need of a safe, confidential place to stay.
Counseling is available for individuals and their children who have experienced or currently are experiencing relationship violence or stalking.
The MSU Safe Place support group meets weekly and is open to survivors of relationship violence and/or stalking. Childcare is available. Please note: Support group has been suspended currently due to COVID-19.

MSU affiliated persons needing shelter can also use this number to access our on-call phone service after 5:00pm Monday through Friday and on weekends and holidays.
